On January 7, 2005, Urstadt Biddle Properties, Inc. acquired The Dock, a 269,000 square foot shopping center located in Stratford, Connecticut (the "Property) for $50.25 million in cash from an unaffiliated family which controlled the property for several generations. The purchase was funded with available cash and $17.5 million in borrowings on the Company's secured revolving credit facility. On January 10, 2005, the Company issued a press release announcing the acquisition of the Property. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
