Item 12. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On April 8, 2003, Mothers Work, Inc. issued a press release announcing its sales results for the month of March 2003 and for the second quarter ended March 31, 2003. In the release, Mothers Work also updated its earnings guidance for the second quarter and for the full year of fiscal 2003. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
