Item 8.01.  Other Events

 

On September 28, 2007, Mothers Work, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company and Sears® were unable to reach terms on a renewal of their leased department relationship. The Company anticipates that its relationship with Sears will terminate on June 20, 2008, the expiration date of its current agreement with Sears. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
