Attached is an English translation of the summary of the letter dated October 21, 2009, filed by the Company with the Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires and the Comisión Nacional de Valores:

By letter dated October 21, 2009, the Company reported that has acquired the amount of 1,925,600 shares of BrasilAgro in public auctions and in public transactions in BOVESPA. Those transactions were performed during this week, for an average weighted price of R$11.10 and for R$ 21,372,678 (both including commissions), those shares are equivalent to 3.296% of the outstanding capital of BrasilAgro, therefore the Company increased its participation from 19.14% to 22.44 % to the date hereof.
