On February 29, 2008, Stage Stores, Inc. issued a News Release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of five cents per share on the Company’s common stock, payable on March 26, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 11, 2008.  A copy of the News Release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
