On March 11, 2008, Stage Stores, Inc. (the "Company") issued a News Release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended February 2, 2008.  Additionally, the Company provided first quarter and full year 2008 guidance.  A copy of the News Release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
