On November 20, 2008, Stage Stores, Inc. (the "Company") issued a News Release announcing its financial results for the third quarter ended November 1, 2008.  Additionally, the Company provided updated fourth quarter and full year guidance.  A copy of the News Release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
