On March 4, 2010, Stage Stores, Inc. (the "Company") issued a News Release reporting its February 2010 sales results. The Company also announced that it will make a presentation at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2010 Consumer Conference on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 2:40 p.m. Eastern Time.  A copy of the News Release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
