The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 2.02, "Results

On April 25, 2006, Capital City Bank Group, Inc. ("CCBG") issued an
earnings press release reporting CCBG's financial results for the first
quarter of 2006. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1
hereto and incorporated herein by reference. In addition, a copy of the CCBG
Quarterly Financial Data Supplement for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 is
being filed as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by
reference in its entirety.
Attached as Exhibit 99.3 is selected information that will be presented
at CCBG's Annual Meeting of Shareowners on April 25, 2006.
