Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 17, 2013, the Board of Directors of Umpqua Holdings Corporation (the “Company”) approved the extension of the Company’s share repurchase program to June 30, 2015. The share repurchase program, which was originally announced in August 2003, was set to expire June 30, 2013.
