On October 16, 2007, Nephros, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the commencement of the human clinical trial for its OLpur™ H2H™ Hemodiafiltration Module and OLpur™ MD 220 Hemodiafilter at the Columbia University Dialysis Center.  The full text of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
