On December 8, 2016, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the board of directors (the "Board") of GSE Systems, Inc. (the "Company"), Dr. Roger Hagengruber advised the Board that he will not stand for reelection at the Company's annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 2017, in light of his desire to retire as a director at the end of his term.
