On May 11, 2011, Richard D. Sage, a director, notified EZCORP, Inc. that he intends to retire
from the Board of Directors soon after the end of the company’s current fiscal year (September
30, 2011). Mr. Sage, age 70, has served as a director for the past 16 years, and is stepping
down to devote more time to personal matters. |
Item 8.01 — Other Events
On May 17, 2011, EZCORP, Inc. issued a press release announcing the completion of the previously
announced acquisition of fifteen Mister Money pawn stores located in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
