The lawsuits alleged that Reliant Resources engaged in so-called "round trip" trades to allegedly overstate revenues and improperly accounted for certain trading transactions in violation of Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. In the order, the court dismissed the fraud claims with prejudice. With the dismissal of all fraud-related claims, the only remaining claims against Reliant Resources in the consolidated cases are the plaintiffs' claims under Section 11 and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933 pertaining to statements made in Reliant's registration statement for its initial public offering.
