     On April 17, 2009, Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation (the “Company”) announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued another Notice of Allowance for the Company’s United States patent application directed to SOLODYN® in 90mg tablet form. A press release dated April 17, 2009 announcing the issuance of the Notice of Allowance is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
