The company is doing away with plastic for its credit cards following a partnership with Marqeta for the launch of new digital credit cards. This new functionality will help the company's corporate cards to work on mobile wallets similar to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Apple Pay or Samsung Pay without the need for a physical version.
John Skinner, JPMorgan's head of commercial cards stated that this will be another means of getting virtual cards to users that need them quickly. He added that the pandemic has had some lessons and that there is a need to have such a product as it appears applicable than imagined.

In Q2 Insurer enhanced its coronavirus response efforts by supporting care providers, customers, communities, and patients through outreach programs and clinical innovations. The CEO confirmed that the company moved to help care providers and communities through a $3.5 billion voluntary customer support and enhanced care funding.

The company's Q2 profit dropped as the pandemic and declining Satellite TV business eclipsed the launch of a video streaming service. AT&T reported 36 million subscribers on HBO Max and HBO which is a streaming service that launched in May as COVID-19 forced people to stay at home.
