Item 7.01Regulation FD Disclosure.
Contango Oil & Gas Company (the "Company") has announced in a press release the discovery and successful completion of the Elliott #1H well (80% WI) in the Muddy Sandstone formation in Weston County, Wyoming (N. Cheyenne Prospect Area). A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
