Basel, February 1, 2007 - Novartis announced today that it has filed its 2006 annual report on Form 20-F with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and has posted this document on its website at www.novartis.com. A copy of the companys traditional annual report is also available on this website. Novartis shareholders may receive a hard copy of either of these documents, each of which contain our complete audited financial statements, free of charge, upon request.
