Item 8.01.  Other Events.

On April 6, 2009, Gulf Onshore, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a Certificate of Amendment with the Secretary of State of Nevada, changing the Company’s name to Cannabis Science, Inc.

A copy of the Certificate of Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit 3.1.

Effective May 7, 2009, the Company will begin to trade on the Over the Counter Bulleting under the new ticker symbol “CBIS”, which reflects the name change.

The Company also changed the address of its principal offices to 548 Market Street, Suite 16645, San Francisco, California 94104.  The Company’s new telephone number is 1.888.889.0888.
