Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On August 31, 2017, Ms. Melanie Simpson tendered her resignation from her position as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, of Ellie Mae, Inc. to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Simpson’s resignation will be effective as of October 15, 2017.
