Included in the press release mentioned below is an announcement that 3D Systems Corporation (the “Company”) plans to hold a conference call and webcast at 11:30 a.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, to discuss the Bits From Bytes acquisition. A copy of the press release, which contains additional information regarding how to access the conference call and webcast and how to listen to a recorded playback of the call after it is completed, is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. On October 5, 2010, the Company completed a non-material acquisition of Bits From Bytes Ltd., a United Kingdom maker of 3D printers and 3D kits that print plastic parts for educational, hobbyist and professional applications. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by this reference.
