New Oriental Filed its Annual Report on Form 20-F

Beijing, November 27, 2007—New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. (NYSE: EDU), the largest provider of private educational services in China (“New Oriental” or the “Company”), today announced that it filed its annual report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2007 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 13, 2007. The annual report can be accessed on the Company’s investor relations website at http://investor.neworiental.org. The Company will provide a hard copy of its annual report on Form 20-F containing the audited financial statements for the three years ended May 31, 2007, free of charge, to its shareholders and ADS holders upon request.
