Explanatory Note
This Amendment No. 1 to Current Report on Form 8-K/A is being filed to include as an exhibit a corrected press release that was released on March 15, 2016. This corrected press release replaces the press release that was released earlier on March 15, 2016.

On March 15, 2016, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a corrected press release announcing preliminary unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2015. The correction related solely to the section entitled the “Next Four Quarters (Second Quarter 2016 – First Quarter 2017) Guidance” in which the third bullet was corrected to read “Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) expected to be ~$6.0 billion.” The full text of the corrected press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K/A and is incorporated herein by reference.
