(b) Barry D. Russell has left the employment of Ferro Corporation (the "Company") effective as of August 15, 2009. Mr. Russell served as the Company’s Vice President, Electronic Material Systems. His departure reflects the Company's continuing efforts to adjust corporate costs during the current recessionary environment. The Electronic Material Systems business will report during an interim period to James F. Kirsch, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
