ITEM 2.05. COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH EXIT OR DISPOSAL ACTIVITIES
On February 9, 2009, Forrester Research, Inc. (“Forrester” or the “Company”) announced a
reduction in its workforce of approximately 50 employees across various functions and geographies.
Notification to affected persons commenced on February 9, 2009 and is expected to be completed by
February 13, 2009. Forrester expects to incur pre-tax expenses of approximately $2.5-3.0 million
in the first quarter of 2009 related principally to cash severance and related benefits costs for
terminated employees. Forrester is also evaluating associated facilities-related costs.
