INTRODUCTORY NOTE
On September 27, 2007 Sparton Corporation issued a Press Release announcing the decision of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in the matter of Sparton Technology, Inc. v. Util-LINK LLC and National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative.

On September 27, 2007 Sparton Corporation, an Ohio Corporation (the “Company”) issued a Press Release (“Press Release”) announcing the decision of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in the matter of Sparton Technology, Inc. v. Util-LINK, LLC and National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative.
