By: Get News

The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation's "Zero Carbon Public Benefit" online conference was held in August, aiming to promote the low-carbon development of the global economy through the implementation of national carbon reduction public benefit projects, low-carbon emission reduction education and training and other practical actions.

In order to achieve this goal, the Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation's "Zero Carbon Public Benefit · Reduce Carbon Footprint" public benefit activity will be officially launched on September 16, the United Nations "International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer", leading 8 billion people around the world to take low-carbon actions to protect the ozone layer and jointly combat climate change.

UNCNGGF Zero carbon public welfare creates a green future

Extreme weather is destroying the Earth's ecology, while also causing huge damage to the global economy. Addressing climate change has become a major issue in today's world. The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation (UNCNGGF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing global action to reduce carbon emissions and protect the planet's green environment. Through education, publicity, public welfare activities and other means, to enhance the global public awareness of climate change and carbon emission reduction issues and guide their participation, call on people from all walks of life around the world to actively participate in carbon emission reduction actions, and contribute to the realization of global green environmental protection.

This "Zero Carbon Benefit" online conference is jointly organized by the United Nations Carbon Source Fund and the Sustainable Energy Fund. The conference included ambassadors from the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and the United Nations, as well as diplomats, government officials and artists from other parts of the world.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in the "Zero Emissions Dialogue Tour" that to alleviate the environmental crisis and solve the problem of climate change, it is imperative to mobilize businesses, cities, regions and investors to support zero carbon emissions.

Human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, industrial production and transportation will release a large amount of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, leading to global climate change. Carbon neutrality can offset or reduce the carbon emissions produced by these human activities.

UNCNGGF's Zero Carbon Fund can be used to support projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, forest conservation and restoration, carbon capture and storage technologies, and to develop carbon market mechanisms such as emissions trading, carbon taxes, and carbon offsets. Help businesses become carbon neutral by reducing or offsetting their carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy, improving energy efficiency and undertaking carbon offset projects.

Over the past few years, more and more companies have begun to focus on carbon neutrality and incorporate it into their sustainability strategies.

Low-carbon life is related to the global sustainable development of human beings, we should start from the small things around us, improve carbon reduction awareness, reduce carbon footprint. Join UNCNGGF now and answer the UN's call to contribute to the global green transition.
