(OTC Pink Sheets - MIKP) (www.mtpprods.com) proudly announces today that firm dates have been set for principal photography beginning June 6th, 2011 on its sci-fi thriller, ‘White Space’, with plot and premise under tight wraps in line with sales and acquisition strategies for the project.

The project has secured impressive locations including the 25,000 sq. foot creative campus housing www.newdealstudios.com and www.filmworksfx.com , among others and the industry renown spaceship soundstage at Laurel Canyon Stages http://www.lcstages.com/spaceship.html.

LCS features an impressive soup-to-nuts facility frequented by companies like MTV, Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and others. Filmworks/FX routinely works with major commercial and motion picture companies such as Sony Pictures, Fox Searchlight, Walden Media, Mandate Pictures, and Lionsgate.

As well the team has scouted a few notable L.A. landmarks for earth sequences from the deep space thriller’s script. “Production value on this project is impressive to say the least,” states MTP CEO/Producer, Mark B. Newbauer. “Ryan (Spokelane Entertainment’s Ryan Colucci), is doing a fantastic job as lead producer taking on multiple roles here to ensure high cost-efficiency with little room for error as principal photography is only a few weeks away.”

He continues, “Everyone on board is working hard to support the overall vision of the film, geared for theatrical release. I’m confident we’ve done a superb job keeping the project in a category of the genre’s classics such as ‘Alien’ and John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’ toward impressive sales figures, margins and returns.”

The company’s CEO, while in L.A., will also be setting up meetings with select industry players to discuss its literary property, ‘George R.R. Martin’s The Skin Trade’, which has gained a significant relevance factor thanks to the author’s recent successes on HBO’s epic series, ‘Game of Thrones’. The series was picked up for a second season after its first episode which premiered on the premium network in April and Martin, the author, was recently declared by Time Magazine as one of 100 most influential people of 2011. “We’re proud to be working on The Skin Trade and intend to keep true to the author’s vision in our adaptation,” comments Newbauer.

In addition, the company’s graphic novel division has a number of benchmarks complete with announcements forthcoming, including an exciting film rights acquisition.
