It is no wonder that 44% of the top 50 iPad Roll outs list made by ZDNet are education institutes (K-12 education/ higher education) & enterprises. Universities and school boards nationwide have discovered the great value in deploying the iPad and integrate it as part of their learning methods.

MacWorld Australia has recently published an article on deploying iPads in schools; the author Anthony Caruana (who is also an IT manager at a middle-sized independent school in Melbourne) describes a process of evaluating a number of different computing platforms and types of hardware as part of a review into its school’s technology strategy:
“ One of the results of that review was to trial iPads with a small cohort of students in the last year of their primary education. That trial has since expanded to include all students in the last two years of primary school and the first year of secondary education.”
