NYC Police Brutality Lawyer Announces Lawsuit Against NYPD in Search of Home Without a Warrant

By: PRLog
A Lawsuit Against the NYPD for Searching a Home Without a Warrant is Announced

PR Log - Apr 29, 2013 - The NYPD will soon be facing a lawsuit in a case where they entered an apartment without a warrant, searched it, found nothing and still arrested the occupant. "This is really amazing, they charged my client with disorderly conduct in his own apartment which they searched without a warrant," attorney Michael Discioarro said. He went on to say that the NYPD was looking for a BB gun. "When will the NYPD be held accountable by the leaders of this city," Mr. Discioarro said.

Each year hundreds of thousands of people are wrongfully stopped and arrested by the NYPD. The tactic known as "stop and frisk" is widespread and mainly impacts minority communities.

Violating constitutional rights has become the norm for the NYPD. The city will pay hundreds of millions of dollars in damages this year and yet no one is willing to stop these violations. The case is being prosecuted by the Bronx DA office. You can learn more by contacting the attorneys at 917-519-8417 or by viewing:
