PRLog - Jul 01, 2013 - HOUSTON -- On Sunday, September 1, 2013, some of the most renowned women of Gospel and Soul will gather at the Bayou City Event Center (9401 Knight Rd., Houston TX 77045) for an inspirational evening of music. Doors open at 3:00 PM and the event begins at 4:00 PM.
Hundreds will gather to hear award-winning legends and rising stars such as:
- Karen Clark-Sheard: Gospel legend, renowned musical mentor, and four-time Grammy-winning songwriter
- Ann Nesby: The incomparable vocal powerhouse and two-time Grammy Award winner
- Anita Wilson: The innovative voice behind Worship Soul music and Grammy and Stellar Award nominee
- Denise Robinson: Electrifying Gospel singer, international performer and famous author
- Chris Balbosa: A soulful, authentic new Gospel artist from Trinidad & Tobago
- Chosen: The charismatic new Gospel men’s ensemble taking Houston by storm
Also appearing are the Windsor Village United Methodist Church Praise Dancers, the Zion Covenant Ministry Praise Dance Group, and the CVMA Gospel Choir from Trinidad & Tobago.
The event is hosted by Music Spirit USA, an independent record label and live music production company located near Houston. Music Spirit’s commitment to the power and experience of live music has led them to organize and host a variety of exceptional concerts, festivals and events, including this one.
The Women of Spirit and Soul event promises to be an evening of musical excellence and inspirational moments that have the power to bring the Houston community together.
