MasterCard, Major League Baseball Properties and Major League Baseball Advanced Media Team up to Fulfill Lucky Fans' Baseball Dreams

MasterCard Worldwide, Major League Baseball Properties (MLB) and Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) today announced the launch of MasterCard Presents MLB® Dreams, a program that offers cardholders in the U.S. the chance to win a dream-filled week with their favorite MLB team during the 2008 regular season. The week will be comprised of exclusive experiences that may include special access to home and away games, batting practice, VIP seating, and meet-and-greets with MLB legends. MasterCard is the preferred card of MLB and has sponsorship alliances with 17 MLB teams.

Ways to Enter: Card Usage & Online Registration

When U.S. cardholders use their MasterCard cards from July 1 to September 30, 2007, for U.S. based purchases or enter on-line, they will be automatically entered for a chance to win the Week of Your Dreams promotion. Cardholders will also receive double sweepstakes entries for MasterCard®PayPass tap transactions and for MasterCard purchases made with any Bank of America MLB team affinity card.

Keep Dreaming Online

On July 9, MasterCard and MLB.com will launch an MLB Dreams-themed website featuring FOX Sports broadcaster Joe Buck. Visitors are encouraged to piece together team-specific video and record an accompanying voice over via phone about their favorite MLB team for a chance to win a trip to a 2007 MLB World Series game with three friends, accompanied by Buck himself. The creator of the video submission that receives the most votes each week will walk away with the Finalist Prize: a signed MLB Authentic Collection jersey from their favorite team. Plus, they can view and vote for their favorite videos submitted by other fans for chances to win exciting Major League Baseball prizes.
