Arnett’s Trail Rides Hosts a Holiday Fun Day, Seaside Shares Christmas Stories, and Baytowne Wharf Opens Outdoor Skating Rink.
PRLog - Dec. 5, 2013 - DESTIN, Fla. -- Arnett’s Gulfside Trail Rides on Highway 393 will be hosting a Christmas Fun Day for the family on December 1st. From 11am to 4pm, there will be pony rides, hay rides, a jump house, and crafts for kids. There will also be hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn, and a TV in the pavilion for the football games.
During the month of December, Seaside Repertory Theatre will be featuring “Every Christmas Story Ever Told”. From stories to jingles and dancing, guests can enjoy getting in the holiday spirit starting on December 4th for opening night. December 8th will be the 6th Annual Elf Ride in Seaside. Participants will meet at the post office and ride over to the Watercolor Fire Station. Following the ride, there will be a barbecue at 1:30 with drinks, face painting and fire truck tours. Families are asked to bring a gift for the Fire Department Angel Tree program.
Americana Under the Stars will continue at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, hosted by Lucky Mud. Each week on Thursday evenings, an open mic showcase of local musicians will be featured at 5pm, followed by a concert of touring singer/songwriters. Visitors can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the outdoor entertainment. All donations made will benefit the park’s resource management projects.
Every Saturday in Grand Boulevard, photos with Santa Claus will be available in the Grand Park from 2pm to 4pm. Santa will also arrive at the Silver Sands Premium Outlets in the courtyard on December 7th. Children can enjoy face painting and holiday crafts. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will feature an outdoor skating rink throughout the winter months. Single sessions are available as well as season passes.
The 30A Farmers Market at Rosemary Beach is a great location for the best of locally grown farm fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, homemade pastas and sauces, pastries and much more. Every Sunday from 9am to 1pm, this International Farmers Market Event is held at the Rosemary Beach Town Center rain or shine. Reservations can be made at GRS Vacation Rentals in the area for those interested in staying overnight.
