ATCC chooses INDMEX to implement its Next Generation Trauma Management solution to effectively coordinate statewide trauma responses and transports
PRLog - Jun. 23, 2014 - LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Arkansas Trauma Communications Center (ATCC) today announced that it had selected INDMEX, Inc. to deploy its next generation trauma management system at its communications center in Little Rock, AR.

Based in Little Rock Arkansas, ATCC is charged with coordinating all patient movement due to trauma for the state’s 72 hospitals, and all major and moderate level transports from incident scenes for nearly 650 ground and 28 air ambulances that are part of the Arkansas Trauma System. “ATCC needed to accurately and efficiently manage, monitor and respond to the needs of trauma patients throughout The State of Arkansas,” said Jeff Tabor, Program Director at ATCC. “The new software system from INDMEX will enhance our existing ability to coordinate care for the most critical of patients within our state and help us ensure that the level of care provided is the highest we can possibly offer to our fellow Arkansans.”

The solution being delivered by INDMEX will allow ATCC personnel to coordinate the most appropriate level of care needed for a trauma patient - in real time, across all participating hospitals, through a locally hosted web-based application. The architecture selected will ensure continuous availability of the system while guaranteeing the confidentiality of patient information and that treatment of these records is in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) guidelines.

“All of us at INDMEX are thrilled to be working with ATCC on such a critical component of the Arkansas Trauma System and to play a part in providing access to critical medical resources to the people of Arkansas,” shared Carlos Nevarez, CEO of INDMEX. “INDMEX has a proven record in public safety since 2002 when we participated in the implementation of the City of Milwaukee Fire CAD system. Our experience, when combined with aircraft surveillance and operations monitoring background, made for the right mix of knowledge and expertise required to address the particular needs of ATCC.”
