Freelancers Become Stylepreneurs at First PYP Freelance Business Development Summit

By: PRLog
Freelance glam aquad artists learn how to market a luxury service with confidence and get paid what they're worth.
PRLog - Aug. 13, 2014 - STAMFORD, Conn. -- The PYP Freelance Business Development Summit presents 4-Days of advanced entrepreneurial classes for makeup, hair, fashion stylists and manicurists.

The Summit debuts October 18-21, 2014 at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Stamford, Connecticut. Classes, caucuses, and social networking mixers are offered from 9:00AM – 9:00PM daily. Class admission prices range from $59 - $199. Special rate 1, 2 and 4-day passes are also available.

Our mission is to prepare freelance makeup, hair, fashion stylists and manicurists to recognize opportunities, overcome challenges and understand how to thrive as business professionals. Some of the greatest challenges these artists face is managing business politics, booking consistent projects, and negotiating rates that reflect their worth.

PYP Summit founder Crystal Wright says, ‘This 4-day event is jam packed with industry experts and luminaries such as beauty blender CEO Rea Ann Silva, Hair Rules author and product creator Anthony Dickey and Emmy Award Winning Makeup Artist Kevin James Bennett who are committed to sharing their knowledge in order to raise the bar for a new generation of artists.’
