Teen Entrepreneurs Make Their Pitch for America’s Next Top Business Model

SOURCE: FedEx Corporation

A start-up company may be well on its way to even more success after winning $75,000 in the FedEx Junior Business Challenge.

Five student teams around the country competed against each other to see who had the best original business idea.

From colorful drawstring fish pouches to an anti-bullying app, the teen entrepreneurs showcased their products in front of a panel of judges that included two-time Super Bowl Champion Hines Ward and PGA TOUR player Patrick Reed.

Through its PGA TOUR sponsorship, FedEx launched the competition earlier this year in support of Junior Achievement Worldwide to help empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.

More than 15 student teams from five PGA TOUR cities pitched original business ideas at qualifying events during the 2016-2017 PGA TOUR season. The competition culminated with five finalists competing at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, the site of this year’s PGA TOUR’s TOUR Championship.

Watch the video to see which team came out on top and earned a $75,000 donation from FedEx to their local JA chapter.
