EUGENE, Ore. - Dec. 2, 2017 - PRLog -- Brock Joined the army in 1991 as an M1A1 tank crewman. Over the years, Brock struggled to find his place not just in the army but in the world. He was a dental and oral surgery assistant, providing care to service members, federal contractors, local nationals, and foreign military personnel in Kosovo during the region's horrific war.
Not feeling emotionally or intellectually fulfilled, he changed jobs once again and became an excellent information technology specialist in 2000. In 2004, Brock deployed to Iraq and was instrumental in establishing secure and non-secure network communications for thousands of American soldiers in and around Baghdad. In that year-long deployment, Brock found true purpose, but it would not last. Brock's body had been failing him for years, and in 2006 he left the army.
Always an avid reader and daydreamer, Brock began putting his thoughts into words, and those words became worlds, fantastic worlds of excitement and heroism.
Brock enrolled in college and used his GI Bill to earn a degree in computer networking. In 2011, he discovered Amazon's Kindle Direct Program and decided to upload the books he had written. By 2013 he was selling hundreds, sometimes thousands, of books every month.
