Brown’s Car Stores and owner William E. Schuiling have a long-standing commitment to support and enrich the local community where our dealerships are located.

Brown’s Car Stores and owner William E. Schuiling have a long-standing commitment to support and enrich the local community where our dealerships are located. Our organization continually works to sponsor a wide range of charitable programs and events during the holidays and all year long. In 2017, our dealerships partnered with local charitable organizations to help those in need during the holiday season. Here are some of the programs our dealerships sponsored in December 2017:

Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie

Hope for All: Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie was able to make a second donation this year to Hope For All – an organization that provides basic needs for people in need throughout Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City. We are so thankful that we are able to give back to our community through this amazing organization. This is the second of two donations we gave to Hope For All, for a 2017 total donation of $21,588! https://www.facebook.com/hopeforallmd/

Salvation Army Angel Tree Program: Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie employees and owner, William Schuiling participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program this year. The gifts are for local children of families in need. Each child will receive 3 gifts that the child wanted from Santa, plus each child will receive shoes, pants, shirts, a coat AND a bike. Brown’s Fairfax Nissan

Salvation Army Angel Tree Program: Our community is very important to us and it is a great point of pride that our team was able to help the Salvation Army in Fairfax Virginia. Our employees supported the Christmas wants of 25 kids from the ages of 18 months to 12 years old through the Angel Tree program. Brown’s Manassas Kia

12 Ways of Giving: As a member of the Manassas community, Brown’s Manassas Kia, and owner William E. Schuiling was proud to once again sponsor the 12 Ways of Giving program. For twelve days, City of Manassas employees go out and serve with different non-profits in their community. As a local business in the city of Manassas, Brown’s Manassas Kia will make a $500 donation to a chosen charity from the city employee who volunteers the most hours. We look forward to seeing all the good works that come out of this wonderful community event!

Brown’s Manassas Subaru

Share the Love: Brown’s Manassas Subaru, and owner William E. Schuiling partnered with the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company for the 4th year in a row for Subaru Share The Love. For each vehicle purchase, customers can choose a charity and Brown’s Manassas Subaru will make a donation. When the customer selects the local charity – Manassas Volunteer Fire Company – Brown’s Manassas Subaru will donate $50 on their behalf. Over the last 3 years, Brown’s Manassas Subaru has helped raise over $27,000 for the Manassas Volunteer Fire Co.! www.manassasfire.com

Cougar Elementary Sponsorship: Brown’s Manassas Subaru and William E. Schuiling will donate holiday tumblers to every member of the faculty and staff at Cougar Elementary School. Brown’s Manassas Subaru and Cougar Elementary School collaborate all throughout the year for various events and fundraisers such as book drives and fun runs! http://www.mpark.net/our-schools/cougar-elementary

Brown’s Arlington Honda

U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program: Brown’s Arlington Honda and William E. Schuiling proudly participated in the Toys for Tots foundation for the holidays. Brown’s Richmond VW Jaguar

Bikes for Kids: Brown’s Volkswagen, Brown’s Jaguar and owner William Schuiling collaborated with a local radio K95 Richmond to help collected bikes for less fortunate children in the Richmond area this holiday season. 175 bikes were collected and we hope those children will now have a special holiday this year! https://www.facebook.com/k95richmond

Brown’s Manassas Hyundai

Stuff a Santa Fe: Brown’s Manassas Hyundai and owner William E. Schuiling participated in “Stuff a Santa Fe” benefiting Children’s National. From December 4 through December 19 donations of new unwrapped toys were collected for patients of Children’s National Hospital. Thank you to all who donated and helped bring cheer to a child this holiday season! https://childrensnational.org/
