Dr. Brad Richtsmeier was awarded the prestigious fellowship status by the Academy of General Dentistry on a national level in Las Vegas in August 2017. Most recently, on March 2nd, 2018, he was also honored in Iowa in a ceremony by the Iowa chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Fellowship status is conferred to dentists who have completed over 500 hours of continuing education in all disciplines of dentistry and successfully complete a testing process demonstrating their knowledge.
"I'm honored to become a Fellow in the AGD. Over the past years, I've had the opportunity to train around the country and learn from many leading dentists in our profession. This has not only benefited myself as a clinician, but I've been able to bring back leading edge treatments and incorporate them into our practice here in West Des Moines, benefitting our patients," said Dr. Brad Richtsmeier.
In the same event, Dr. Mindy Richtsmeier received recognition for her 10 years of membership with the Academy of General Dentistry.

Continued mastery of the trade, staying up to date with all aspects of the practice of dentistry through continuing education, is at the forefront.
