The webinar is hosted by Delray Beach-based addiction treatment center, Recovery Boot Camp, and sponsored by the Schnellenberger Family Foundation. The Basic Training: Family Edition Webinar gives participants the opportunity to assess and examine the themes of surrender, expectations and resentments, and ultimately a measuring stick to see the change. The educational webinar series features two hosts: Minister to the Community Rabbi Mark Rotenberg and Recovery Boot Camp COO David Zaiff.

Like the prior editions, the Winter 2019 Basic Training: Family Edition will continue to educate and equip families with information essential to restoring health and wellbeing for everyone involved with the disease of addiction. The webinar teaches participants how to assess where the family stands with regards to addiction and recovery. It also breaks down the concepts of active addiction, treatment and post-treatment from both sides of the recovery equation.

Testimonials from parents:

·       "(Recovery Boot Camp) understood what we were going through (as parents). They understand that addiction is a family disease. We have learned so much about how to help our son and how to help ourselves." – Leah M

·       "(Recovery Boot Camp) is not only a great place for your loved one…but you will get all the education you need to help you as a loved one and family and carry on. While they are being cared for, you are being cared for." – Alice B. of Cincinnati, OH

·       "We had always thought that addiction was the addict's problem. That is so far from the truth because the parents also in their own way become addict enablers. And we have learned so much." – Monika
