UnitedHealth algorithm accused of racial bias gets scrutiny from N.Y. regulators

State regulators in New York are calling on UnitedHealth Group Inc. to either prove that a company-developed algorithm used to prioritize patient care in hospitals isn't racially discriminatory against black patients, or stop using it altogether.
