Inspirit Senior Living
MCLEAN, Va. - August 2, 2021 - (Newswire.com)
Inspirit Senior Living is taking an essential step in protecting the health of residents, staff, and the surrounding community with a new policy requiring all staff to be fully Vaccinated against COVID-19.
This vaccination mandate will apply to all staff, temporary staff, volunteers, vendors, and visitors at all Inspirit Senior Living communities.
This new policy comes as the highly infectious Delta variant has caused coronavirus cases to rise in every state, with some of the highest numbers in states with low vaccination rates.
Dave McHarg, Chief Executive Officer of Inspirit, said, "The safety of our residents and team members remains at the heart of all that we do. And at this time, we are diligently working together to achieve the very best outcomes possible in the face of this continued threat."
All Inspirit Senior Living personnel impacted by this policy will be required to submit documentation indicating their vaccination status or will be instructed on how to request an exemption for religious or medical reasons.
Throughout this pandemic, Inspirit has offered educational resources, transportation, on-site vaccine clinics, and rewards programs for vaccinated team members. With this new drive, Inspirit will also be offering additional PTO for those who choose to get vaccinated in response to this new policy.
Vaccinations are not currently required for residents at Inspirit Senior Living communities; however, all community members are encouraged to get vaccinated unless underlying health conditions do not permit.
