Coastal Oral Surgery has opened a second office located at 87 Lindsey Lane, Unit B, St. Marys, GA, according to Dr. Jeff O. Capes.

SAINT MARYS, Ga. - Aug. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- With two offices and two dual-degreed oral surgeons, Coastal Oral Surgery is now more convenient than ever for patients in southeast Georgia and northeast Florida.  "We've traditionally had patients come to our St. Simons office from a broad geographic area," Dr. Capes explained.  "With the new office in St. Marys, many patients will have a much shorter drive when they come to see us.  We also look forward to seeing more patients from Florida, including communities such as Yulee and Amelia Island."

"The St. Marys office is also fully equipped for oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, Dr. Capes added.  "We provide the same professional services that patients have come to expect from us at our St. Simons Island location."

Dr. Capes now practices with Dr. Dexter W. Mattox.  "Dr. Mattox is helping us increase our coverage in the new office," Dr. Capes said.  "Dr. Mattox first shadowed in my office over ten years ago.  He followed in my footsteps by attending UGA for college and then moving on to the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta for dental school.  He also followed my path by completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program and his M.D. degree at Case Western.

Both doctors are trained as physicians and dentists who specialize in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.  The doctors see patients at both the St. Simons and St Marys locations.  Both offices offer state-of-the-art imaging and procedures such as wisdom teeth removal, placement of dental implants, diagnosis and surgical treatment of oral cancer, and treatment for TMJ Disorders.

The new St. Marys office and the St. Simons Island office are open five days a week, Monday through Friday.

Dr. Capes explained that a referral is not required to make an appointment.  "While we receive many referrals from excellent dentists in the area, a dentist referral is not necessary to be seen in our practice.  We are accepting new patients and invite people to contact us through our website, capesoralsurgery.com, or by calling (912) 439-3841 for the St. Marys office, or (912) 634-6600 for the St. Simons office.
