Avonya Inc, a New York-based company dedicated to sharing the benefits of dance, has launched a new dance app. It features instruction on popular dance styles from around the globe.

Staten Island, United States - September 9, 2021 /PressCable/

The new Avonya app is ideally suited to new and seasoned dancers who want to learn a variety of dance styles from different parts of the world. It’s designed to make international dance instruction available across the globe.

More information can be found by visiting https://apps.apple.com/us/app/avonya/id1531058511

Aspiring and professional dancers will now be able to access expert dance tutorials from anywhere in the world. They can master popular dance genres, such as Bharata Natyam, Hip Hop, Odissi, and Reggaeton.

Every class is led by a world-leading dance artist. Popular artists Lumarie Landrau, Leela Samson, Bijayini Satpathy and Deshawn Da Prince have already partnered with the app, with more instructors to follow.

The app provides several custom options. Users can decide how long they want each class to last. They may also select which instructor they want to learn from and adjust the speed, audio, and camera angle to suit their needs. To enhance their learning, users can also stream the instructor’s audio notes.

Members can download the app on the Apple store. It’s currently available on a trial basis with in-app purchases, including two subscription options. It can be used on iPhone and iPads using iOS 11 or later. Users will be able to attend their first virtual dance class and instructors receive payment every time a user attends their tutorial.

The Avonya app currently has a five-star rating. An existing app user says, “What a fresh take. I’ve been looking for something new to shake up the pandemic routine and this has reminded me how much I love learning dance. It’s such a great tool for a novice and it’s so exciting to get taught directly by renowned choreographers. This is my new favorite app.”

About The Company

New Yorker and Avonya Founder, Sabina Sebastian has been dancing since she was 4 years old. A few years ago, she went on a sabbatical to India to study classical Indian dance with renowned artist Bijayini Satpathy. Hundreds of local students study with Bijayini, but Sabina had a vision of making her classes available to a global audience. That’s when she knew she had to create the Avonya app.

Avonya Inc aims to create a space where all kinds of dance and dancers can flourish regardless of their location. They’re passionate about helping people learn how to move in a way that’s fun, interactive, and customizable and giving choreographers a platform to showcase their skills while getting credit for their creativity.
