UFacilitate is preparing to launch a new cohort-based training course called Take the guesswork out of leading collaborations during COVID times. This course is designed for emerging leaders in purpose-driven organizations. Participants will learn simple facilitation techniques that will address 80% of current collaboration challenges. UFacilitate founder and CEO Andres Marquez-Lara describes the course as, “one part leadership development, one part facilitation sandbox, one part supporting group of peers to help you navigate collaboration challenges.”

What does it mean to be a good leader? According to UFacilitate, “The idea of what it means to be a good leader is drastically changing. Today, leadership is much more about creating the conditions for a team to collaborate and thrive than about command and control. It’s about becoming a better facilitator of change. It’s no longer good enough for leaders to be in the spotlight, set the vision, and lead others to it. Now they also need to know how to co-create that vision with their teams, and how to collectively be set for success.

The course will consist of two 90-minute virtual sessions per week for three weeks, totaling nine hours of valuable training and learning. The course is currently available in English and Spanish, and will soon also be offered in French. Preferential pricing of $1,000 (USD) per participant will be available for the inaugural course. Pricing for future more intensive programs will range from $2,500 (USD) to $3,000 (USD) per participant.
