ORLANDO, Fla. - July 20, 2023 - PRLog -- Patrick Archer has joined Calder Associates as Director of M&A in Calder's Florida office. Calder Associates of Florida maintains offices in Orlando and serves middle-market companies throughout Florida, the Southeast, and nationwide.

With 30 years of public and private sector experience, Patrick Archer has worked extensively in commercial banking, corporate communications, luxury residential construction and real estate development across Florida and Latin America. His finance background, communication skills, and broad industry experience will be a great addition to the M&A team at Calder Associates and an asset to his clients.

Archer has prior M&A experience assisting middle-market business owners in the preparation and sale of their companies across Florida and the Southeast. Archer also brings an in-depth knowledge of international business, having worked in several Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay.

In his public sector roles, Archer served as Speechwriter & Special Advisor for the Governor of Florida, for the Chairman of the Florida Council of 100, and for the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Portugal. Upon leaving public service in Tallahassee, Archer was named Director of Communications and ultimately high-rise Project Manager for one of Florida's leading master-planned developers, WCI Communities.

Patrick received dual bachelor's degrees in economics and Spanish from Washington and Lee University and a full merit scholarship to the University of Florida MBA Program where he specialized in finance and entrepreneurship. In addition to his native English, Patrick speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
