Item 8.01 Other Events.
Moscow CableCom Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release today announcing that it has received an unsolicited offer from Renova Media Enterprises Ltd., the Company’s largest shareholder, to acquire the Company in a merger in which the Company’s stockholders would receive $10.80 per share of the Company’s stock in cash. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
