About Dr. Brian Abrams
Dr. Abrams is enthusiastic about his work as an optometrist. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, he went on to complete a four-year program at the Illinois College of Optometry. This school is recognized as one of the world's leading institutions for eye care study. He participates annually in continuing education courses and is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In 1994, Dr. Abrams began his family eye care practice in Woodbridge / Vaughan, Ontario.
While focused on preserving optimal vision as patients move through their life stages, he has a particular interest in the early detection and treatment of eye disease. Often, this can begin without noticeable symptoms. He values a strong doctor-patient relationship and takes the necessary time and care to educate his patients if problems are found. He also works closely with a network of eye care specialists should their expertise and skills be required.
