Having initially started as a carpet cleaner, Oliver Farrey, the owner of Fresh Fibres, is celebrating their transition into operating as a seller of carpet cleaning products internationally, as well as working as an industry trainer.
An experienced carpet cleaner based in Oldham and serving the Greater Manchester Area, Oli still offers a wide range of floor and soft furnishing cleaning and restoration services through Fresh Fibres. This includes carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, rug cleaning, leather cleaning, stone and tile floor cleaning, vinyl floor cleaning, and carpet repairs.
Oli’s move to selling carpet cleaning products began after he was unhappy with the quality of the products on the market. Finding all of the products in the carpet cleaning industry were designed many years ago, and outdated compared to the advancements in chemical manufacturing since, he knew that he could make better, more versatile, longer-lasting, and safer products for himself and his customers.
After a long period of research, Oli started manufacturing his cleaning solutions. Having used and tested the new products in his own cleaning business, he decided to start selling them to fellow carpet cleaners, and as such, NjordChemicals.com was born.
This was around the time COVID hit. Despite the challenges this difficult time presented, the venture was triumphant.
